Somerset Private Hospital opened its doors in August 2021 and due to increased demand, we are growing our workforce. The hospital which provides overnight facilities, is furnished with the latest technology and equipment to provide specialty services to both adult and paediatric patients. Specialties will include Plastics & Reconstructive surgery, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, ENT and Oral & Maxillofacial.

 An opportunity exists for an outstanding CSSD Technician to join us on a full-time, part-time or casual basis.

 To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

 ·        Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a sterilisation environment.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Skilled in effective methods of communication and interpersonal relationships.

·         A comprehensive knowledge of the principles of disinfection and sterilisation standards.

·         Demonstrate strong attention to details and accurate data entry.

·         Able to independently make decisions and act when appropriate.

 Desirable criteria

 ·        Current Certificate III in Sterilization or equivalent qualification or willing to obtain.

·         Experience in reprocessing endoscopes.
