About the Role

Work as part of a team of respectful and caring clinical professionals

You will make a positive impact on the life of residents with your compassionate, empathetic and supportive approach that empowers residents' choices and independence.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of care services to residents including:

• Communicating

• Mobility

• Social activities

• Eating

• Showering

• Dressing

• Grooming

• Toileting

• Medication Assistance

Practice duty of care, and promote personal safety and risk management

Promote dignity of risk which empowers residents’ choices and independence

Work in collaboration with internal and external service providers to provide clinical solutions

Adhere to policies and procedures during the normal course of carrying out duties and responsibilities

Skills and Experience

• Cert III in Individual Support with Cert IV highly regarded

• Previous aged care experience highly regarded

• The ability to work as part of a team and take direction as required

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
