Based in the vibrant creative hub of Sydenham, we’re a fast-growing fashion label pushing boundaries and setting trends—and we’re looking for a Design Assistant to join our passionate creative team for Seven Wonders and Runaway Mens.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Design Assistant with at least 1 years of experience to assist in the design and development of our upcoming collections.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and trend-driven designs for seasonal collections.

• Assist in the development of mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings.

• Research and analyze fashion trends, fabrics, and colour palettes to inform design decisions.

• Participate in fittings and revisions to ensure proper fit and style of garments.

• Create and maintain technical specifications and design documentation.

• Work closely with production teams to ensure design concepts are accurately executed.

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and present ideas confidently to the team.

• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• 1 years of experience in fashion design

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).

• Strong sketching and illustration skills.

• Excellent understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
