Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior School (F-6) teacher with experience in Performing Arts to teach classes from F-2.

This is a part-time (0.4) on-going position commencing in Term 1 2027.

Role Description:

• Role model and inspire a passion for learning in the Performing Arts in all students.

• Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.

• Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice.

• Actively engage in the School’s Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program.

• Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents/carers regarding their children’s learning and wellbeing.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have:

• Skill and interest in teaching Junior School students in Performing Arts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus time management skills.

• Knowledge and understanding of best practice in education.

• Skilled in creating a warm, welcoming and productive classroom environment.

• Ability to foster and promote positive relationships with all stakeholders (students, colleagues, parents and the wider community).

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team.

• A role model of lifelong learning.
