Senior Store Person - Automotive Parts

NPC are seeking an experienced Senior Store Person for a hands-on role where you will take an active part in the picking, packing and dispatch of daily customer orders.

We are looking for someone with the experience and initiative to keep the warehouse running efficiently, prioritise work and provide direction to other warehouse staff when required. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.

The Role:

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations and workflow

• Picking, packing and preparing of orders

• Organise outgoing freight and deliveries

• Loading and unloading of stock 

• Receive, check and put away incoming stock

• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment

• Component assembly and packaging

• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse

• Maintain stock locations and inventory accuracy

• Prioritise urgent orders in conjunction with the sales team

• Lifting of heavy items

• Assisting with regular stock takes and audits

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS policies

About You

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

• Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a Store Person, Senior Store Person or in a similar warehouse role

• Experience across picking, packing, receiving, dispatch and stock control

• Experience coordinating warehouse operations and overseeing other staff

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience using computerised inventory or warehouse systems

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Are physically fit and happy lifting heavy items when required

• A practical, hands-on approach

• Current driver's licence

• Forklift licence preferred

• Australian work rights are required for this position

Experience in automotive parts, industrial parts, engineering supplies or a similar parts environment will also be highly regarded.
