DevOps Engineer

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and collaborative DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, automation, and operation of reliable and scalable software systems. The role focuses on improving engineering efficiency, deployment processes, infrastructure reliability, system performance, and collaboration between development and operations teams.Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure processes, and supporting reliable software delivery across development, testing, and production environments. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot technical issues and improve system availability and performance.The role also involves managing cloud or on-premises infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code, maintaining configuration standards, monitoring system health, and supporting application scalability and security. The successful candidate will contribute to automation initiatives, strengthen observability and deployment practices, and continuously improve development and operational processes.QualificationsStrong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automation, and software delivery practices.Proficiency with CI/CD tools and concepts for automated build, testing, and deployment.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform or Ansible is preferred.Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, system administration, and technical troubleshooting.Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.Familiarity with monitoring, logging, alerting, and system observability practices.Awareness of cloud security, access control, DevSecOps, and infrastructure security principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, infrastructure, security, and business teams.Proactive and adaptable mindset with a strong focus on automation, reliability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement.
