Disability Support Worker – Mobility and Personal Care

At Alya, we believe great support starts with great people. We're looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide consistent, person-centred support to an adult participant living with Cerebral Palsy in the Gympie region.

This is a rewarding opportunity to build a long-term, trusted relationship while making a genuine difference to someone's independence and quality of life.

About the role

You'll provide support with a range of daily living activities, including:

• Personal care and hygiene
• Manual handling and transfers
• Meal preparation
• Household tasks
• Community participation
• Supporting daily routines
• Day shifts and sleepover shifts

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate, reliable and professional
• Confident providing personal care and manual handling
• Able to work independently and follow support plans
• Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support

Experience supporting people with Cerebral Palsy or complex physical disabilities will be highly regarded.

Essential requirements

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Current QLD Working with Children Check
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• First Aid and CPR certificate (preferred, but not essential)

Pay: $36.81 per hour
