The Team

The Beaconsfield District health Service consists of a 22 bed facility including Residential, Aged Care, Respite, Sub acute and Palliative care. There are also a number of community services, visiting services and support groups that operate from the service including Day centre, home help services, Women's health, Social work, Physiotherapy and Community Nursing.

The Role

Function efficiently as a member of the health care team concerned with care of an individual and their family unit within the community setting. Provide home help to the client within their own home as assessed and documented in the clients care plan. 

You will need

• A genuine commitment to supporting older people and helping them remain independent in their own homes.
• A current Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• The ability to undertake domestic assistance tasks, including cleaning, laundry and household support

Details of appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 5 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$59,668 to $65,185 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
