Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.

• Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to optimize client outcomes.

• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional growth and development.

• Review and finalize financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.

• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting regulations.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

• Develop and implement efficient processes to improve practice performance.

• Liaise with regulatory bodies, including the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

Qualifications:

• CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in tax and accounting, preferably within a public practice firm.

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting standards.

• Proven experience in managing a team and client portfolio.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar platforms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
