Cyber Security and/or Software Development Course Coach

Job Role:
Provide education and training to students via Online Course Coaching.

Being a Course Coach involves:

• Tutoring and teaching adult learners. This is done by having consistent communication with students via Zoom calls, phone or written communication.

• General support and connection with students about course questions and study requirements.

• Basic scheduling and time management skills are required for a successful candidate.

• Working with a passionate team to ensure student success.

We are currently hiring course coaches with Cyber Security skills and experience or Full Stack Web Development skills. If you meet either one of these skills please apply below!

Skills Needed Cyber:

• Experience with Cyber Security Systems and Tools (Basic Cloudflare, AWS, Wireshark, Virtual Machines)

• Strong understanding of Cyber Security foundations

• Industry experience is preferred

Skills Needed Web Development:

• Experience in Full Stack Web Development

• Proficiency with at least 2 programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python)

• Experience with Github and SQL or similar database programing

• Experience with Blockchain and AI / ML is preferred

Universal Training Skills:

• Strong English Communication Skills

• Computer with appropriate microphone and camera settings to host a zoom call

• Flexible availability to communicate with students

• Valid TAE (training and assessment) qualification - if you do not have this, be willing to obtain the qualification.
   

Salary:

This is a part-time role. The part-time rate for a Course Coach for this particular role is $45 per hour. Successful candidates will be doing 10 hours per week.

This job is dependent on student availability and self-autonomy for scheduling. Hours are averaged across the week, with hours being dependent on student availability.
