About the Role

Responsibilities
Conduct on-site property assessments, identifying cause, extent, and impact of lossWork closely with builders, engineers, and stakeholders to understand damage and recovery optionsStrengthen your skills in policy interpretation and coverage decisionsInvestigate claims thoroughly, gathering evidence to support indemnity and recovery decisionsFormulating scope of worksManage claims through to fair and timely settlementContribute to improving customer experience and assessment processes
Qualifications
3+ years in property claims handling (ideally with previous strata claims)Experience with complex, commercial, or CAT claimsA desire to step into a more technical, investigative roleStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder skillsCuriosity and a passion for understanding “what really happened” in a claimA driver’s licence and willingness to attend site visitsCurrent base in metro Melbourne
Required Skills
AICLA Diploma in Loss Adjusting or qualifications attained through ANZIIFThorough knowledge of commercial and residential construction industriesKnowledge of property claims law and jurisdictional issuesPrevious desktop or on road Loss Adjusting experience
