Home Caring Smithfield are seeking an experienced and dedicated Rostering Officer to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the complex rostering system to ensure our aged and disability care professionals are effectively scheduled to provide the highest quality of service to our clients based in the Smithfield and broader areas.
ABOUT THE ROLE
To ensure quality service delivery, you must be fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
The Rostering Officer is responsible for planning and scheduling the matching process between the Support Workers and the participants within their allocated regions to achieve efficient scheduling, optimisation and service allocation goals.
We will provide you with all the tools you need to succeed, including a company laptop and mobile phone. We are ideally seeking someone based in the Smithfield area, as an understanding of the local community and service area is highly beneficial. While this role is largely work from home; you will be required to attend the office on a regular basis to connect with the team
KEY ROLE DUTIES:
Maintain and update the employee rostering system to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling of care workers
Liaise with care workers to understand availability and preferences, and make adjustments to the roster as needed
Communicate any changes or updates to the roster with care workers and clients in a timely manner
Track and analyse rostering trends, workforce capacity, and service delivery requirements to proactively identify staffing challenges, optimise shift allocation, and ensure consistent, high-quality support for clients.
Provide administrative support to the wider operations team as required
Work in conjunction with the Case Managers and Team Leader of Support Workers to ensure staff compliance, availability and suitability is accurate
ABOUT YOU
The person we are looking for will have the following;
Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination
Knowledge of aged care or disability services and awards preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being part of a connected and supportive team with some days in the office
