Cellar Door Manager

About the role

We are looking for a person to join our team as the Cellar Door and Wine Club Manager, responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience, whilst overseeing and growing our online Direct-to-Consumer business. Working alongside our Marketing Manager, the successful candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, who has a passion for wine and gourmet produce, enjoys meeting new people and who has a warm and engaging personality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Cellar Door day to day operations, ensuring a well presented and welcoming environment for visitors

• Conduct tasting experiences, able to reflect the premium yet approachable nature of our brand across our wine and estate produce, whilst driving sales and wine club signups

• Maintain all Cellar Door and customer areas to a consistently high standard of presentation and cleanliness

• Grow our Wine Club membership, whilst accurately managing customer information across our sales platform

• Work in a positive and collaboratively manner alongside our Marketing Manager and Wedding and Events Manager, delivering exceptional visitor experiences

• Manage phone and online enquires, including the packing & dispatching of orders

• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food service regulations, and occupational health and safety policies

About you

• A person with a passion for wine, who enjoys providing memorable guest experiences

• Have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

• Calm under pressure, highly organised, a self-starter with initiative and capable of working independently or within a small team

• Available to work at least one weekend day

• Experience in management would be an advantage

• Must hold a current RSA certification and a valid driver's license
