Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at our Melbourne (Knoxfield) facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising staff, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and ensuring all warehouse activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

You will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a strong safety culture within the warehouse team.

• Supervise and support warehouse staff, including storepersons and assemblers

• Coordinate receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control activities

• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company safety procedures, and SOPs

• Monitor forklift and equipment use, licensing, and safe work practices

• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliation

• Liaise with branch management, sales, and transport providers

• Address performance issues, provide coaching, and support training needs

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation

You are a confident, practical leader with strong operational experience and a proactive approach to safety and performance.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team-leader role

• Strong working knowledge of WHS obligations in a warehousing environment

• Current LF forklift licence

• Experience with inventory management systems (ERP/WMS)

• Strong communication and people-management skills

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments (highly regarded)
