About the role
The Team
Women's and Children's Services at the Royal Hobart Hospital is a leading provider of specialist healthcare for children, young people, and families across Tasmania. Working within the Paediatric Outpatient Unit and as part of the "Kids with Cancer" clinical research program, the team is committed to improving health outcomes through innovative research, evidence-based practice, and participation in national and international clinical trials.
This role works closely with clinicians, researchers, study sponsors, and partner organisations including the David Collins Leukaemia Foundation to support the delivery of high-quality paediatric oncology research. Our multidisciplinary team values collaboration, integrity, clinical excellence, and a family-centred approach to care, ensuring children and their families have access to world-class treatment and research opportunities without leaving Tasmania. The Role
As the Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery and coordination of paediatric clinical trials and research projects. Working alongside Principal Investigators and multidisciplinary clinical teams, you will ensure studies are conducted in accordance with ethical, regulatory, and governance requirements while supporting participants and families throughout their research journey.

Details of appointmentPermanent Part-Time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary$85,196 to $97,915 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
