Assistant Store Manager

The Onitsuka Tiger store management network is growing! We’re on the hunt for a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Sydney CBD.

Onitsuka Tiger, the forerunner of ASICS, was born in 1949. The brand began with Kichachiro Onitsuka's commitment to promote youth health through sport and since then, the Onitsuka Tiger stripes have become synonymous with premium performance in sport.

The legend lives on today as a lifestyle brand in the fusion of Japanese heritage and modern flair. With designs ranging from updated classic silhouettes to new styles and collaborations with like-minded artists and cultural connoisseurs, the spirit of Japan resonates in each new collection of Onitsuka Tiger shoes, apparel, and accessories.

Our Assistant Store Managers are responsible for supporting our Store Managers in running the day-to-day operations of the store in addition to leading and developing a team and contributing strategy to optimise sales and store performance.

Here's what we’d love to see from you:

• Previous people leadership experience in a similar customer facing role

• The ability to deliver exceptional customer service

• Previous sales experience with the ability to educate your team and our customers about our products, and how our product can help customers meet their goals

• A self-starter with proven experience in multi-tasking, teamwork and working in a fast-paced environment 

• Previous experience working in retail, apparel, fashion, or premium/luxury brands is advantageous; willingness to learn and passion for the brand is essential

• Availability to work a full-time roster
