At Caroline Springs Mazda, we're seeking an experienced Management Accountant to become a key member of our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal and the Owners, this is a senior, commercially focused role that provides financial leadership, operational support and strategic insight across the dealership.

About the Role

This permanent part-time role offers approximately 20–25 hours per week with flexibility around how those hours are worked. You will take ownership of the dealership's accounting and compliance functions while partnering primarily with the Dealer Principal to support business performance, profitability and continuous improvement. Availability on Mondays and/or Tuesdays, together with flexibility during payroll, month-end and year-end reporting periods, will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

·         Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting

·         Manufacturer incentive, floorplan and warranty accounting support

·         General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations

·         Accounts payable and receivable oversight

·         Payroll processing and payroll compliance

·         GST, payroll tax and superannuation compliance

·         Month-end and year-end reporting

·         Cash flow forecasting and reporting

·         OH&S coordination and compliance administration

·         WorkSafe and WorkCover coordination and claims administration

·         Process improvement and financial analysis

·         Providing commercial advice and financial insights to the Dealer Principal

About You

·         Minimum five years' accounting experience

·         CPA or CA qualified (or working towards qualification) preferred

·         Strong management accounting and financial reporting capability

·         Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

·         Sound knowledge of BAS, GST and statutory compliance

·         Preferably Pentana knowledge

·         Strong analytical and commercial acumen

·         Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

·         Automotive dealership experience will be highly regarded preferably with Pentana experience
