ACT Filter Exchange is a growing company specialising in filter and exhaust solutions for commercial kitchens. We are committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions while maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety, quality assurance and environmental compliance.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineering Technician to join our team.
· Assist with planning, coordinating and delivering solutions for customers.
· Conduct site inspections and monitor activities to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and Australian Standards.
· Prepare, interpret and review engineering drawings, technical documentation and construction plans.
· Perform site measurements, surveys and quantity calculations.
· Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
· Monitor progress and prepare technical reports, site records and progress documentation.
· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers regarding project activities.
· Assist with contract administration, scheduling and project coordination.
· Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and environmental regulations.
· Assist in identifying engineering issues and recommending practical solutions during project delivery.
· Support quality assurance processes and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
· Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
· At least two years of relevant full-time post-qualification experience as a Civil Engineering Technician or in a closely related role.
· Demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure or construction projects.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Knowledge of Australian Standards and civil construction practices (or the ability to quickly adapt).
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is desirable.
· Current driver's licence essential.
