Our newest chapter begins in Footscray in October 2026, as we expand into Melbourne’s west and build a new clinic designed to support a vibrant and growing community from day one.

Our Footscray clinic represents an exciting opportunity to help shape a new site from the beginning, support the local community, and contribute to an important step in IA’s journey.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment, with a varied caseload and a patient-centred collaborative team.  

Our Footscray clinic will also be home to IA’s first established PET department, making Footscray a unique opportunity to help build a service that will make a meaningful difference for our patients and referrers in the local community.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing imaging service, working with a supportive clinical team and contributing to high-quality care in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant and diverse communities.

You will work alongside experienced sonographers who are passionate about patient care, collaboration and service excellence.  This role will appeal to experienced Sonographers who are driven to provide high quality and efficient ultrasound imaging services to our patients.

You will work collaboratively with our Radiologists, Technicians and Clinical staff to ensure that this is provided in a professional, respectful and compassionate way for our patients.

Our case range is vast, varied and will suit Sonographers who are skilled in a variety of ultrasound examinations.

About you

• Demonstrated clinical experience performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations
• An ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• A patient-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care and outcomes
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality diagnostic images
• Current ASAR accreditation (essential)
• Completion of an ASAR-accredited course, such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Sonography
• Full work rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident)
