Practice Manager

We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager to take ownership of the daily operations of our psychology clinic. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to keep the practice running smoothly, ensuring our clinicians can focus on patient care while you handle the systems, people, and processes behind the scenes.

This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on structure, enjoys solving operational problems, and understands the importance of getting the details right in a healthcare setting.

This is an opportunity to work with the veteran and first responder community and give back to those who have served.

• Oversee day to day clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and front of house standards.

• Manage and support administrative and reception staff, setting clear expectations and providing guidance.

• Monitor and improve clinic workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing fixes.

• Act as a key point of contact for clinicians on operational and administrative matters.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and rostering of practice staff.

• Maintain compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and clinic policies.

• Report on practice performance and operational metrics to the senior leadership team.

• Proven experience in a practice manager or senior healthcare administration role.

• Strong understanding of medical or allied health billing systems (DVA and Medicare experience highly regarded).

• Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead a small team.

• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a calm approach under pressure.

• Confident using practice management software (experience with Zanda or similar is a plus).

• A genuine interest in or connection to veteran and first responder mental health is highly valued.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
