Senior Contracts Administrator

Following recent project awards, NRW Civil & Mining is seeking experienced Senior Contracts Administrators to join our project delivery teams. You will manage contracts, commercial risk and subcontractor outcomes across significant civil projects within a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing project commercial and contractual functions
• Administering head contracts, progress claims, variations and contractual correspondence
• Monitoring costs, forecasts and month-end financial performance
• Identifying commercial risks and supporting practical mitigation strategies
• Preparing and issuing RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers
• Leading commercial evaluations, negotiations and contract preparation
• Managing subcontractor engagement and contractual performance
• Preparing monthly commercial reports for senior leaders
• Supporting the development of contracts administration team members
• Ensuring NRW’s commercial policies and procedures are consistently applied

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Proven contracts administration experience within civil construction
• Experience managing head contracts and subcontract agreements
• Strong knowledge of claims, variations, cost control, forecasting and month-end reporting
• Experience in subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiations
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to identify contractual risk
• An understanding of earthmoving plant and equipment
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
