We are partnering with an award-winning and highly regarded law firm to appoint a Marketing & Communications Manager to play a key role in raising the profile of the firm and its lawyers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands how to turn legal expertise, client successes and market insights into compelling content and profile-raising opportunities. You will play a central role in building brand awareness, strengthening the firm’s market positioning and ensuring its people and expertise are visible to the clients and markets that matter.

At the same time, this role offers the opportunity to get closer to the coalface of the firm's strategic business development and growth agenda. Working closely with the leadership team, partners and lawyers, you will gain exposure to client development, revenue-generating initiatives, bids and proposals, and the broader commercial conversations shaping the firm's future.

The opportunity

This is a broad and visible role with a strong focus on marketing and communications. You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and deliver integrated marketing and communications campaigns that build brand awareness and raise the profile of the firm and its lawyers
• Work closely with partners and lawyers to identify opportunities to showcase their expertise, insights, client successes and thought leadership
• Create compelling and engaging content across a range of channels, including the firm's website, thought leadership platforms, marketing collateral and digital communications
• Develop creative ways to increase awareness and engagement with the firm's brand and expertise
• Help shape and communicate the firm's brand, market positioning and key messages
• Manage and enhance the firm's website and digital presence
• Identify and develop media and profile-raising opportunities, supporting both traditional and digital media activity
• Plan and deliver campaigns, client events, sponsorships and other initiatives that build the firm's profile
• Support rankings, awards and other recognition initiatives

Beyond the core marketing and communications remit, you will also work alongside senior stakeholders on broader business development initiatives, including bids and proposals, client presentations and strategic client growth opportunities.

About you

You may currently be working in a Marketing or Communications role within a law firm and be looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience. You will have a strong track record of developing compelling content and initiatives that raise the profile of lawyers and build awareness in the market, but will also be interested in understanding how marketing activity connects to client growth and commercial outcomes.

You will bring:

• Proven marketing and/or communications experience gained within a law firm
• A strong track record of developing compelling content and campaigns that build awareness and raise the profile of lawyers and practice areas
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to translate complex legal expertise into engaging and accessible content
• Experience working closely with partners and senior stakeholders to identify and develop profile-raising opportunities
• Strong digital marketing and communications experience, including website and social media channels
• A creative mindset, combined with a practical and commercially focused approach
• Experience supporting media relations, events and thought leadership initiatives
• An interest in, or exposure to, bids, proposals and broader business development activity
• A collaborative, proactive and hands-on approach, with the confidence to build strong relationships across the firm
