Community Development Officer - Youth, Children and Families (Temp Full-time)

• Develop and implement projects to deliver youth and community sector development as per the Program Level Agreement with the Department of Family and Community Services with a focus on vulnerable children, young people, families and communities
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with local community service providers and government agencies
• Provide technical advice to project officers on specific activities associated with projects to ensure consistent quality in the delivery of engagement at an operational level
• Manage and deliver the Hills Youth Army program
• Manage and implement Council’s Youth Ambassador program

• Degree or Diploma in Community Services
• 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role
• Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid

A salary of $98K per annum (excluding superannuation), paid weekly. Opportunities for training to keep your skills up to date. An opportunity for bonus payments and to participate in wellbeing initiatives and benefits available to staff through our EBA and other programs.
