Service Technician QLD

About the role

PuraAir Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full time highly motivated Service Technician based on the Gold Coast to service odour control and scenting systems in commercial, retail and residential sites in the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas. The hours of work are from 8am till 4pm Monday - Thursday (4 days per week - days can be flexible).

Key responsibilities

• Carrying out the total maintenance of all equipment on a scheduled basis to maintain optimum performance of equipment

• Installation and removal of equipment from sites

• Maintaining tools, workshop and vehicle

• Maintaining stock take and appropriate stock levels

• Carry out troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs

• Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality workmanship to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment

• Ensure equipment and quality satisfaction is delivered in accordance with the customers' expectations

• Provide technical support to the sales team and be willing to sell and promote our product

About you

• A highly motivated and physically fit, self-starter who is resilient, customer focused with a drive for getting the job done

• Loyal, honest and possessing integrity

• A team player as well as being able to work on your own

• Well presented, an excellent communicator with great customer service skills

• Willing to promote our product

• Organized, reliable and you take pride in your workmanship

• Able to work in commercial, retail and residential and hotel waste rooms, foyers and loading docks to service equipment

• Holding a current police check and WWC check or willing to get these

• Able to service and maintain equipment – test/fault find and repair experience (full or part trade qualifications or trade assistant in electrical or refrigeration is an advantage but not essential)

• Holding a clean, Current Driver's License – an experienced, confident driver
