Your Role:

As a Disability Support Worker at Redefine, you’ll play a key role in supporting participants to live their best lives through a variety of daily tasks and community activities.

• Social and community support: engaging in recreational and social activities such as hikes, gym visits, beach days, community outings, and so much fun!

• Personal care: assisting with daily routines including showering, dressing, grooming and medication support.

• Health and wellbeing monitoring: observing and reporting on participants’ progress and wellbeing.

• Transport and errands: assisting with shopping, groceries, and travel to appointments.

• Team contribution: attending staff meetings, ongoing training and professional development.

What you will need:

• Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)

• Current CPR / First Aid Certificate

• Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check

• Current and satisfactory Federal Police Check, Yellow Card & Blue Card

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence 

• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)

• Smartphone with internet access
