ABOUT THE ROLES

We're hiring for two positions:

Supervisor – Front of House

The FOH Supervisor is a key part of the deli floor operation, supporting the Management team in delivering an exceptional guest experience every service.

You'll lead and train team members across all FOH sections — till operation, hosting, floor and coffee — while upholding the service standards and culture Hector's is known for. Strong barista skills are a must.

Supervisor – Back of House

The BOH Supervisor is a key part of the deli kitchen operation, supporting the Management team in running a tight, high-quality kitchen.

You'll lead and train team members across all BOH sections in either our deli or central kitchen — prep, toastie, fryer, fresh, pass, float, open and close — while maintaining the food standards that Hector's is known for.

Both roles are hands-on. You'll be on the floor, coaching in real time, and holding the standard every service. At times, you'll step into shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and training new and existing team members across your section

• Upholding service, food quality and presentation standards in line with our SOPs

• Supporting opening and closing procedures

• Managing team deployment and stock orders when acting in a shift management capacity

• Maintaining accurate documentation including food safety and wastage records

• Ensuring a clean, safe and compliant operation

• Contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture

ABOUT YOU — FOH Supervisor

• Proven experience in a similar high-volume FOH or café role

• Strong barista experience — essential

• Exceptional guest service and communication skills

• Natural leader with a warm, professional presence on the floor

• Calm, efficient and consistent under pressure

• Clear communicator who leads by example

ABOUT YOU — BOH Supervisor

• Proven experience in a similar high-volume kitchen role

• Cert III (or equivalent) in Commercial Cookery preferred

• Do Food Safely Certificate and HACCP knowledge

• Natural leader with strong attention to detail

• Fast, efficient and calm under pressure

• Passionate about food quality and product integrity
