Senior AP Officer

About the Opportunity
Seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on an initial 3 month temporary basis, with potential to extend into a permanent role for the right person.

This is a great opportunity to step into a fast paced, high volume AP function within a business that plays a genuinely meaningful role in its industry. You'll be taking ownership of end to end AP processes and helping keep a busy payables function running smoothly.

About the Role

• Managing end to end accounts payable processing, including payment runs, reconciliations and reporting
• Overseeing invoice matching, payment approvals and compliance
• Reporting on AP KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Building strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Partnering with Procurement to support purchasing compliance
• Supporting month end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations

What they're looking for 

• Solid experience in a senior AP or similar finance role
• Strong understanding of end to end AP processes
• Strong Excel skills
• Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Experience in a large, complex organisation is highly regarded
