Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for customer service, facility management and team leadership?
Eaton Recreation Centre is seeking a proactive and organised Facility Operations Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our front-of-house and facility operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the South West's leading recreation facilities and play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for our members, visitors and community.

As Facility Operations Team Leader, you'll lead a diverse customer-facing team and ensure our facility remains safe, welcoming, efficient and operationally excellent every day.
Reporting to the leadership team, you will:
Lead the daily operations of reception, café, centre supervision, cleaning and facility services.
Coordinate building and equipment maintenance and manage contractors and service providers.
Lead, support and roster a diverse operational team.
Oversee café operations, stock control and service standards.
Manage purchasing, invoicing, reporting and operational administration.
Promote a strong safety culture through inspections, hazard management and emergency preparedness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational performance.
Contribute to an inclusive, community-focused environment that supports healthy and active lifestyles.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Experience in facility operations, venue management, recreation services or a similar operational leadership role.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams in a customer-focused environment.
Experience with rostering, workforce planning, performance management and staff development.
Knowledge of building maintenance coordination and contractor management.
Strong administration skills, including reporting, records management, purchasing and invoice processing.
A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation and risk management principles.
