Manager - Health, Safety & Wellbeing

• Senior manager role promoting & providing leadership for a safe working environment
• Salary range: $140,000 to $170,000 (based on experience) plus super plus PBI
• Based in Notting Hill, flexible hybrid working arrangements

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader to build positive, engaging and productive stakeholder relationships with our various leaders and staff to ensure that HSW obligations and standards are consistently applied in all activities across our diverse work sites. 

This pivotal role is central to building and promoting positive HSW outcomes to continuously improve HSW performance, consistent with contemporary practice, current research and legislative compliance requirements. 

This role is based at our Notting Hill head office.

As our ideal candidate, you will possess: 

• Relevant Health and Safety qualification with 3+ years’ senior HSW management experience in organisations of 200+ employees. 
• Proven experience within Healthcare will be highly regarded
• Proven experience as a HSW practitioner/manager implementing changes to legislation, regulations in HSW. 
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, guidelines and other strategic initiatives to influence and inform the fostering of a safe and inclusive workplace. 
• Well-developed leadership and management capability (with NFP and/or multi-site workforce management experience is preferable). 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact well with diverse staff and senior leaders and to represent the organisation in external forums. 
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement, consultation, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills.
