Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

Tutt Bryant Group Limited is a multi-divisional organisation operating in General Equipment Hire, Equipment Distribution and Crane Hire. The General Hire Division requires an experienced and proven Accounts Payable Officer to join a highly motivated and experienced finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will process creditor invoices, reconcile statements, manage payment runs, and contribute to improvements in policy, procedures and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process creditor invoices
• Reconcile creditor invoices against monthly statements
• Manage weekly/monthly payment runs
• Contribute to improvements in policy, procedures and processes
• Professionally handle creditor account enquiries
• Perform general accounts payable administrative tasks

About you

• Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a high volume accounts payable environment
• Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Accuracy and proficiency in high volume data entry
• Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Experience using BasePlan would be highly advantageous
• General accounting knowledge and invoice coding experience will be highly advantageous
