Business Development Manager

About the Role

You will be the trusted face of Alliance Care in the market: the person referrers call first when they have a complex participant who needs a provider that can genuinely deliver. You will work directly with the Managing Director and clinical leadership, with real autonomy over how you build the territory.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow our referral partnerships across hospital discharge teams, social workers, support coordinators, plan managers, and LACs throughout Greater Sydney.
• Manage the intake pipeline end-to-end from initial enquiry through service agreement to onboarding, working hand-in-hand with our clinical and operations teams to convert enquiries into well-matched placements.
• Drive occupancy across SIL, STA, and MTA services by identifying demand, matching participants to vacancies, and shaping new service opportunities.
• Represent our doctor-led model in presentations, site visits, expos, and networking events — articulating why clinical governance matters for complex participants.
• Track the market including NDIS reform developments, pricing changes, and competitor movements, and feed insights into our service strategy.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene, keeping CRM records, referral data, and reporting accurate so leadership always has a clear view of the pipeline.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven business development or growth experience within the NDIS sector, ideally in Home Care, High Intensity and Accommodation.,
• Strong working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, plan funding structures, and the SIL / STA / MTA landscape.
• An established (or demonstrable ability to build) referral network across hospitals, support coordinators, and plan managers in NSW.
• Excellent relationship, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain), driver's licence, and own reliable vehicle.

Preferred:

• Experience progressing through service delivery or operations roles in disability care — you understand what good support actually looks like on the ground.
• Existing relationships with hospital discharge planners or clinical referrers.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, health, or social sciences.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
