Position Overview: The Software Engineer will design, develop, test and maintain software applications and systems that power our AI-enabled products and client solutions, working closely with the Managing Director and wider technical team to translate business and client requirements into reliable, high-quality software. The Data Analyst will collect, process, analyse and interpret data to support product development and client engagements, producing reports, dashboards and business insights that inform decision-making across the business and its clients.

Task & responsibilities Software Engineer Research, consult on, analyse and evaluate system and software requirements for new and existing AI-enabled products and client solutions Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and processes, and recommend improvements Design and architect software components, system architecture, data models, APIs and system integrations Write, test and maintain program code to meet system requirements, designs and technical specifications, in accordance with quality-accredited standards Test, debug, diagnose and correct errors and faults in application code within established testing protocols and quality standards Implement, install and support software applications and systems across development, staging and production environments Write, update and maintain technical documentation, end-user documentation and operational procedures Modify existing software to correct errors, or to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance Collaborate with the Managing Director, product stakeholders and clients to determine requirements and communicate progress Contribute to project planning, estimation, prioritisation and delivery timelines for assigned projects Data Analyst Collect, clean, validate and organise structured and unstructured data from internal systems and client sources Analyse and interpret data sets to identify trends, patterns and insights relevant to business and client objectives Design and build reports, dashboards and data visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders and clients Develop and maintain queries, scripts and data models to support ongoing reporting and business intelligence needs Work with the Managing Director, product and technical teams to define data requirements for AI-enabled products and services Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies or gaps in data sets Document data definitions, methodologies and reporting processes for internal and client use Support the evaluation of AI and machine learning outputs through data analysis and validation

Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Contribute to the planning and prioritisation of data and analytics tasks within assigned projects Qualification & experience Software Engineer Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in software engineering, computer science or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience) Demonstrated experience designing, developing and testing software applications, with proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks Sound understanding of software design principles, algorithm design, database design and system architecture Experience with software testing, debugging and quality assurance practices  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, agile technical team Software Engineer  Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience) Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting and business intelligence, including proficiency with tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or similar Sound understanding of data modelling, data visualisation and statistical analysis techniques Experience working with large or complex data sets and translating data into actionable business insights Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data findings clearly Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, agile team
