Austral Drilling is a privately owned WA water well drilling company based in Malaga, providing drilling services across Australia.

Due to continued work, we are looking for experienced Driller’s Offsiders to join our team.

We’re looking for people who already understand drilling — people who turn up, work hard, look after the gear, take safety seriously and know how to work as part of a good crew.

What’s On Offer

• $50–$55 per hour, depending on experience

• Meter bonuses on top of your hourly rate

• Excellent earning potential on productive shifts

At $52/hr, a 12-hour shift pays $624 before meter bonuses, with productive crews having the opportunity to earn considerably more.

What We’re Looking For

You will need:

• Previous Driller’s Offsider experience

• Current HR Driver’s License – essential

• Must be based in WA

• Previous remote and roster experience

• Strong work ethic and a reliable attitude

• Good communication and ability to work well within a crew

• Safety-focused approach to the job

• Australian National Police Clearance within the last six months, or ability to obtain one

• Senior First Aid – or willingness to obtain

• Working at Heights – or willingness to obtain

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
