Loader Operator

Elf Farm Supplies are a family-owned and proudly Australian business established in 1981. Based in the Hawkesbury / Hills region of Sydney, we supply compost (substrate) to the Australian mushroom industry.

We have an opportunity for a Loader Operator to join our Phase 1 production team on a full-time permanent basis on the day shift!

·       Start early – Early morning starts 5am

·       Weekend Penalty Rates - regular weekend shifts available (if desired)

·       Permanent full-time position - financial stability & longevity

🍄 Key Points of the Role:

• Operate a loader (20-30 tonne in size) to move straw bales safely around production areas.

• Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on the loader, ensuring all work meets WHS standards.

• Jump in to support the team with general hand duties — from cleaning to other hands-on site tasks when needed.

🍄 Role requirements:

• Located within the local and surrounding suburbs (preferred), 30min drive to and from site – Mulgrave, NSW

• Driver’s License and Car

• Willingness to be flexible with hours, including early starts, overtime, public holidays

• Front End Loader experience

• Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential)

• Confined Spaces entry ticket (advantageous but not essential)
  

🍄 Ideal experience for the role:

• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing and/or production environments.

• Precision Forklift Driving Experience if no loader experience
