Office Manager Senior Administrator - Boutique Accounting Firm

About the role

As our Practice Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of the firm, working closely with our directors and team to ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the practice
• Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Overseeing ASIC corporate compliance requirements
• Managing AML/CTF compliance obligations
• Monitoring ATO compliance deadlines and lodgments
• Maintaining client records using Xero Practice Manager and other practice management systems
• Preparing reports, reconciliations and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies
• Supporting the team with administrative and operational matters
• Helping create a positive, organised and productive workplace

About you

• Previous experience as a Practice Manager within an accounting firm
• Strong bookkeeping experience
• Demonstrated experience using Xero Practice Manager
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Sound knowledge of ASIC, ATO and AML/CTF compliance requirements
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• A flexible, adaptable mindset with the confidence to embrace change
