You’ll play a key role in:
This is a practical, workshop-based role for a Welder who enjoys working with precision, variety and purpose. Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, you’ll fabricate, assemble and repair metal components for modular projects, delivering work you’ll be proud to put your name to.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform MIG, manual metal arc and gas metal arc welding Complete mechanical cutting, shaping and fabrication activities Read technical drawings and mark out structural fabrications Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques Assemble, repair, replace and modify fabricated components Use hand and power tools safely while maintaining a tidy work area What you’ll bring:

You’ll bring:
Trade qualification or strong demonstrated welding experience Experience with MIG, manual metal arc and gas metal arc welding Ability to interpret technical drawings and fabrication requirements Sound knowledge of safe welding practices and manual handling Confidence using hand-held and bench-mounted power tools A practical, positive approach and willingness to support your team Strong attention to detail, accountability and pride in quality work Why SHAPE is a great place to work:
