Looking for a stable, hands-on role close to home? ISS is seeking a reliable Maintenance Officer / Handyman to support day‑to‑day operations at Blayney. If you enjoy practical work, solving problems, and being the person people rely on, this role is for you.

• Local, steady work in the Blayney region

• Variety every day—repairs, inspections, contractor coordination, safety tasks

• Step-up responsibility as the site’s 2IC when the Facility Manager is away

• Work with a global FM leader while staying rooted in your community

You’ll help keep the site safe, functional and running smoothly through:

• General repairs & preventative maintenance across fixtures, fittings, building services and equipment

• Waste management and internal/external clean-ups

• Contractor engagement & supervision, ensuring compliance with SWMS, permits and site safety

• 2IC duties including toolbox talks, safety walks, stock takes, equipment audits and supporting the cleaning team

• Responding to client requests, logging work orders and maintaining accurate documentation

• Identifying faults, reporting issues and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and safety

• Experience in maintenance, grounds maintenance or handyman work

• Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks and meet short deadlines

• Strong commitment to safe work practices, hazard identification, JSA/SWMS

• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

• Confidence in identifying maintenance needs and sourcing materials

• Current Class C Driver’s Licence

• Bonus skills: Trade qualification, forklift licence, WHS certification, manual handling
