THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Innovative, motivated and team-oriented problem solver

• Advanced skills in AV diagnosis, fault-finding and repair

• Experience with robotic camera systems

• Advanced PC and MAC knowledge, in particular dealing with HDCP limitations

• Advanced use of streaming services such as Zoom, Teams, etc.

• Advanced Android and iOS knowledge

• Broadcasting experience an advantage

• Experience with operation of AMX control systems

• Experience with various AV distribution methodologies including HD-BaseT, NDI, SDI, HDMI and the conversion between them and the blending and syncing of 1080i & 1080p streams

• Experience with Blackmagic Designs range of products including Cameras, ATEM Switching & Video Hub Distribution

• Experience with Yamaha commercial audio products including DANTE routing and distribution

• Experience with Panasonic professional camera and vision switching equipment

• Advanced experience with vMix broadcast software

• Familiarity with Online CDN systems in particular AWS IVS

THE ROLE:

The position is full-time, 5 days a week (Tuesday to Saturday as standard, some Sundays required – time in lieu applicable), and is responsible for:

• Setup and operation of AV equipment for daily training courses

• Setup and operation of conventional and PTZ camera systems to facilitate demonstration of clinical procedures

• IT assistance to courses (PC & MAC)

• Upkeep and preventative maintenance of AV equipment to ensure flawless operation

• Setup and operation of robotic camera system for live patient procedure demonstrations

• Assistance with setup and operation of technical clinical equipment such as microscopes and 3D scanners

• Single handed live PTZ operation, vision switching and audio

• Recording of multi-cam footage and audio for later editing as required

• Setup of live streaming services to facilitate the participation of remote presenters or participants (including pre- and post- production liaison as required with stakeholders and presenters)

• Video editing of studio recordings and multi-cam clinical procedures

• Recording of audio in studio and in field

• Setup and design of lighting in studio and in field

• Setup and operation of portable camera rig

• Setup and operation of DJI Ronin Gimbal rig

• Archiving of raw and edited material to business systems

• Setup, customisation and operation of remote presenter kit
