About the role
Role Description The Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role is a part-time hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the analyst will support the club’s initiatives by collecting and analyzing data on events, membership engagement, and partnerships to inform decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include documenting business requirements, mapping and improving internal processes, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with planning and evaluation of club activities. The analyst will collaborate closely with committee members, contribute to strategy discussions, and help identify opportunities to enhance value for club members and partners. This position is designed for an early-career or student candidate seeking practical experience in business analysis within a professional, asset and wealth management–focused environment.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills and foundational Business Analysis capabilities to interpret data and support informed decisions.Ability to understand and document Business Requirements and translate them into actionable plans.Knowledge of Business Process concepts, including process mapping, improvement, and workflow documentation.Effective Communication skills, including clear written reports, presentations, and collaborative teamwork.Comfort with basic data tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software); familiarity with analytics or visualization tools is an advantage.Interest in asset and wealth management, finance, or related fields; prior exposure through coursework or extracurriculars is beneficial.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage part-time responsibilities alongside academic or other commitments.Open to students or early-career candidates from diverse academic backgrounds; commitment to learning and professional growth is essential.
