Support Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Diploma qualified Educator working toward an Early Childhood Teacher qualification. This role is to be the support teacher in our 4yr old kindergarten room, working collaboratively with our Early Childhood Teacher.

In kindergarten, children are 4 for a whole year! We are looking for a teacher who will celebrate who they are now, confident that the quality of the educational program affords children ongoing opportunities to develop foundational knowledge and skills necessary for school. 

You will be supported by a stable, experienced and approachable leadership team, including a non-contact Educational Leader. Our Centre has a variety of engaging learning spaces with high quality resources, with the addition of a project studio room and covered outdoor play spaces for all weather play.

Role Requirements

• A Diploma Qualification, ideally studying towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)

• A certificate of completion for the National Mandatory Child Safety Training (Foundation)

• A current and valid Working with Children Check

• A Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

• Experience and understanding with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG

• Collaborative leadership and teamwork skills

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• 2 previous work references will be required

• Full Time or Part Time hours considered
