MED II

The Rottnest Barge Service delivers supplies to Rottnest Island by two 30 metre landing craft. Our vision is to provide great service to our customers, efficiently and with high quality.  We aim to grow through the recruitment and training of individuals who care about our organisation and our customers.  We do this through our training program which encourages employees to develop their skills in the marine industry.

A successful candidate will have a professional yet friendly style and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. You are highly organised, have excellent communication skills and a strong technical background.

We are seeking a full-time MED II to operate our daily barge service to Rottnest, this role requires:

·         Solid mechanical and vessel knowledge

·         A forklift licence and a willingness to assist the crew in loading/unloading and delivering on the Island side

·         Excellent customer service

These can be permanent positions for the right candidate, 40 hours per week can be guaranteed.
