Maintenance Planner - Condong Renewable Energy Power Plant

Cape Byron Management Pty Ltd is one of Australia's largest privately-owned renewable energy companies and operates two biomass-fired boiler and steam turbine generator power plants, Broadwater 38MW and Condong 30MW, located near Byron Bay on the north coast of NSW.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Planner to join the vibrant team at our Condong site on a full-time basis. 

Cape Byron Power, Condong Power Station, is nestled in the picturesque far north coast of NSW, 20 minutes from the QLD border and Gold Coast Airport.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance work for the site to ensure the safe and timely execution of maintenance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Plan daily emergent, weekly and outage maintenance tasks

• Develop project plan and schedule for the minor and major planned shutdowns

• Procure parts and services for maintenance tasks

• Manage the site store including re-ordering and stock takes

• Coordinate between workgroups on all matters

• Manage and improve CMMS system data and processes

Skills and Experience:

• Previous planning and scheduling experience

• Mechanical trade background

• Previous experience in power generation, mining or heavy industry essential

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. 

• Relevant CMMS experience (MEX would be an advantage) and Microsoft Project

• Good writing and communication skills

• Strong commitment to safety
