The OpportunityWe are seeking a reliable and detail-focused CNC Operator / Production Operations Assistant to join our growing team in Keyneton.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this hands-on role plays an important part in ensuring our production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. This position suits someone who takes pride in their work, follows processes accurately, and enjoys being part of a cohesive production team.
Key Responsibilities:Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently
Load files, monitor production runs, and conduct quality checks
Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules
Troubleshoot minor machinery or process alerts and errors
Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday
Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day production tasks as required
Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised work environment
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing, cabinet making, or joinery environment (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Reliable, hardworking, and committed to full-time work
Able to work well as part of a small, supportive team
Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and provide a police clearance. Applicants should reside in, or near, Kyneton.
