The Role – Care Service Employee (Casual) | Sutherland NSW
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Service Employees to join our team on a casual basis in Sutherland. Flexibility to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts is essential.
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents. You will provide person-centred care and support, assist with daily living activities, and promote residents' emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections and make a genuine difference in the lives of older people.
Your Duties Will Include
Assisting residents with personal care including showering Supporting residents with meals Contributing to care planning with registered staff Documenting care and services provided to residents Engaging residents in meaningful activities
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum requirements - Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement. Experience in similar role in aged care A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts
