About the role
About the role
This is a hands-on full-time position with a strong focus on ordering, stock control, shelf management, systems and stock integrity. You will play a key role in ensuring the supermarket has the right stock, in the right quantities, at the right time, while maintaining excellent standards of presentation and accuracy. Working as part of the supermarket leadership team, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the store.
Key responsibilities
Managing daily stock ordering and replenishment
Monitoring stock levels, availability and stock movement
Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory integrity
Identifying and investigating stock discrepancies
Managing shelf presentation, availability and product rotation
Ensuring stock is correctly received, stored, displayed and maintained
Monitoring product quality, presentation and pricing
Working with suppliers and internal team members as required
Using computer systems to manage ordering, stock and store operations
Identifying opportunities to improve stock management and operational efficiency
About you
Mathematically proficient with a strong eye for accuracy
Confident, enthusiastic and proactive
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
An effective time manager who can manage competing priorities
Confident using computers and able to learn new programs and systems with ease
Able to analyse information and identify discrepancies or potential issues
Capable of coordinating multiple tasks and prioritising outcomes
Reliable, practical and willing to be hands-on
A positive team contributor who works well with others
Committed to maintaining high standards of stock presentation, display and quality
