About the role
Are you an Aboriginal Health Practitioner looking for an opportunity to specialise in Maternal and Child Health?
Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service is seeking a compassionate and motivated Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP) to join our dedicated Maternal & Child Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Child Health Nurses, GPs and multidisciplinary health professionals to support Aboriginal children and families during some of life's most important stages.
Whether you already have experience in maternal and child health or are looking to develop your expertise in this rewarding field, we encourage you to apply.
About the role:
As an Aboriginal Health Practitioner within the Maternal & Child Health Team, you will play a vital role in supporting Aboriginal children, parents and families across the Perth metropolitan area.
You will provide culturally secure care, health education, advocacy and care coordination, helping families access the health services and support they need to achieve positive health outcomes.
Working closely with Child Health Nurses and other health professionals, you will help strengthen engagement with preventative health services, coordinate appointments, support follow-up care and promote healthy families and communities.
