Site Engineer

Join Seymour Whyte for the Beerburrum to Nambour (B2N) Upgrade Project, a major civil infrastructure project being delivered as a joint venture with John Holland and focused on enhancing the rail transport network between Beerburrum and Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. Once completed, B2N will improve the North Coast Line, making travel faster and better connecting the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane.

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our project team. In this role, you will oversee on-site engineering and construction activities, working closely with project and construction teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.

About the role:

• Supervise on-site works and coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines to support efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with network safeworking standards, specifications, method statements and ITPs.
• Monitor construction progress, quality of work, and productivity, conducting inspections as required.
• Oversee daily field operations, including team supervision, cost control, estimating and reporting.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support safety, quality and environmental outcomes on site.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
• Proven construction experience; civil experience will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes.
• Strong planning, monitoring and reporting capabilities to support effective project delivery.
• Commitment to quality, safety and environmental practices.

Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
