Sales Person Retail Bedding

About the Role

Snooze Launceston is seeking an energetic and dedicated Sales Person to join our retail team on a part-time basis. This role involves approximately 20 hours per week, with a requirement to work weekends. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice on bedding solutions and ensuring a premium shopping experience both in-store and online.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer service inquiries in-person and via the website.
• Advise customers on product features, order status, and provide consistent follow-up.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
• Process customer transactions, including obtaining deposits and balancing final payments.
• Use active listening and questioning skills to identify and solve customer needs effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience or a strong understanding of sales and retail environments.
• Availability to work weekends as part of a regular part-time roster.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• A friendly, resilient, and team-spirited personality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• High level of initiative, reliability, and punctuality.
