Regional PM Truck Drivers - Derrimut

Dyers Distribution is a family owned company who have been providing quality transport services since 1932.  Due to demand we have a number permanent HC driver vacancies for quality operators to distribute grocery products throughout metro and regional Victoria.

Overview of Task:

• Distribution of Retail Grocery and FMCG products 

• PM shift across 7 days (must be available to work weekends).  Shifts normally scheduled to start between 9:30pm and Midnight

• Based at Derrimut

• Ambient and temperature controlled deliveries

• On the job training and assessment

• Quick hitch at DC (the customer loads)

• Dock to Dock deliveries, electric pallet jack at delivery point

• Over award Enterprise Agreement in place

• Phone allowance per shift

• New equipment

• Weekend allowance

• Supportive team culture

 Successful applicants must have: 

• A current HC licence with at least 5 years experience

• Refrigeration / Temperature Control experience

• EPJ experience

• Proven safe driving record

• A safe work ethic

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Chain of Responsibility compliant

• Basic Fatigue Management preferred

• Smart phone

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
