Automotive Trainer/Assessor - Balcatta & Maddington

The Motor Trade Association of Western Australia is the peak industry body responsible for leading, training and preparing the automotive industry for the opportunities of the future.

Our training arm, MTA WA Training Inc. is seeking qualified and passionate industry professionals to deliver high quality training to apprentices & trainees in our Balcatta & Maddington training facilities.

We are particularly interested to hear from qualified mechanics who are looking for a new challenge but who also want to keep their technical skills sharp and remain at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry & profession.  

If you possess the following criteria, we would love to hear from you!

Essential criteria

• Light Mechanical Trade Qualification;

• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience;

• Current driver's licence;

• Attainment of, or capacity to complete a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (at our expense!);

• Capacity to obtain a Working With Children Check;

• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders;

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team;

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Great working terms and conditions including a nine-day fortnight will be offered to the successful candidate.
